Overview
McDonald’s tried and tested various reduced water and retrofit waterless systems but the technologies were not successful in such high footfall locations. The ideal results were not realised until they trialled the URIMAT technology.

After researching and testing a number of waterless urinal systems, both retrofit inserts and full urinal replacements, the URIMAT model proved itself best suited to our specification. As a business, we’re keen to minimise our impact on the environment. As part of this, we’re always looking at new ways to reduce our water consumption in restaurants. the waterless urinals which have been installed in over 1000 of our restaurants are a good example of how we’re doing it".
